The heartbeat of our organization

Our volunteers make Camp Feeling Better, support groups, and community events possible. Every hour you give helps a grieving family feel a little less alone.

As a nonprofit agency, we value the dedication of our volunteers and their tireless efforts. Our volunteers devote valuable time to help keep our programs and services available to the communities we serve.

Whether you have a unique professional skill to share, a few hours a month to offer, or simply a compassionate presence to bring to our programs, your time transforms our mission. We welcome community members from all walks of life and backgrounds to join our volunteer network in Bucks County. By stepping forward, you become a vital link in this sanctuary of healing—helping us expand our reach so that no child or adult has to navigate their loss in isolation.

Board members, camp volunteers, friends and others invest their time and talents helping our agency provide hope and healing to the children we serve. While words are insufficient to show the depth of our appreciation, we want say “Thank You” for all you do!

We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, including teens completing service hours and adults wanting to give back.

Mandatory PA Clearances

Because we work closely with children and vulnerable populations, Pennsylvania state law requires all adult volunteers (18+) to obtain three background clearances before beginning service. The first two clearances are completely FREE for volunteers.

High school students: Hands Holding Hearts is an approved LINCS organization, so your volunteer hours can count toward school service-hour requirements.
